Mandatory Training

Person getting first aid training

Most roles with a statutory or professional duty of care require individuals to undertake core safety training. This includes registered nurses, care workers and domiciliary assistants. Even if you already have these qualifications, taking an annual refresher course will ensure you are up-to-date with the latest legislation and professional guidance affecting your practice. In some cases, these refresher courses are also mandatory. Incisive Training is able to help you fulfil these requirements. We provide training in the areas of Basic Life Support, Manual Handling, and Care Certificate modules (face to face and online). These courses are delivered within a group setting and cover both the theoretical and practical elements of the content, with a focus on applying this information to real-life scenarios. Our aim is to provide both new and experienced staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence to practise safely in a variety of settings, from hospital wards to nursing homes and private residences. All of our course content is based on the latest guidance issued by regulatory bodies in the respective fields, such as the Resuscitation Council and Health and Safety Executive. It is also underpinned by key statutes, such as the Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974. In addition, all of our training staff are qualified nurses with several years of recent experience. We offer meaningful practical context to the information and skills we impart. Courses can be delivered in-house. Please contact us for more information.
