(Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression)
Working in mental health settings sometimes involves assisting and supporting people who are in crisis and thus a potential harm to themselves or others. To do this safely, lawfully and in a patient centred manner, everyone must undergo specific training. Incisive Training is a BILD certified centre for the Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA). Our training is nationally recognised within Agency, NHS and Private mental health settings.

We also deliver bespoke training to hospitals, care homes and community organisations in PMVA, Breakaway, Self Defence, De-escalation and Conflict Resolution.
